I like his thought that he'll "probably never spear another one".  I hope to get to that point someday with the fish that I'm still killing, but I it's hard to transcend to that level!   

I guess the guy never thought about the marlin might spear him back before he pulled that trigger! Courageous or foolish is depending on the final outcome. This time he won.

that is great he landed it and got a good shot. how sad it would have been if he shot it and his terminal gear failed.
