General Talk / Re: Spray paint the kayak or no?« on: May 17, 2017, 05:19:12 PM »Is it tired looking or just the yellow that's eat at youIt's not a bad yellow, I've come to a decision that I'm going to plasti dip it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 9
General Talk / Re: Spray paint the kayak or no?« on: May 15, 2017, 05:24:47 PM »I spray painted my old scrambler for duck hunting, the paint startes to fade and wear off after about 6 months, i didnt like it so i took a pressere washer to it and it took every bit of paint off in a few minutes.Yea I agree with you, I'm not really In a area with a ton of traffic Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 10
General Talk / Re: Spray paint the kayak or no?« on: May 15, 2017, 05:23:47 PM »They make a removable skin spray "paint", can't remember the brand but O'Reillys sells it in many different colors. Used it on the fenders of a quad I have. Pretty cool. If you like don't like it it peels off in sheets pretty easily. However, they say to change it out around six months or so or removal may be more difficult. Thanks for the solid info Pau Hana, I'll have to check that out Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 11
General Talk / Re: Spray paint the kayak or no?« on: May 15, 2017, 05:22:55 PM »I had an old blue Malibu Pro Explorer that I rattled-canned with Krylon Fusion that held up much better than I expected. If visibility is a concern then keeping it yellow would be a good idea. That looks killer man! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 12
General Talk / Re: Spray paint the kayak or no?« on: May 15, 2017, 05:21:50 PM »Not sure why you would buy a yellow kayak if you dislike yellow. If it bothers you that much, you can always sell it and buy a kayak of a different color. That's because this 15' trident I got for $900 came with a hummingbird fish finder, 12 volt battery charger, an ore, a seat, wheelez cart, a gaf, net, rod holders, and a tackle box with tackle in it. At that time it could have been chrome and I still would have got it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 13
General Talk / Re: Spray paint the kayak or no?« on: May 15, 2017, 08:18:03 AM »Hell yes!I wouldn't buy a spray painted kayak! But maybe if it had a cool custom wrap job!Like hillbilly chrome, shoot' get ya' a whole case of duct tape and let's NASCAR chrome that sucka Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 14
General Talk / Re: Spray paint the kayak or no?« on: May 14, 2017, 10:13:37 AM »That's what I was thinking too, good to hear a second thought, thanks! For resale purposes is this a bad call? Just not really feeling the yellow. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 15
General Talk / Re: Spray paint the kayak or no?« on: May 14, 2017, 10:12:52 AM »I have an Orange T15. Want to trade?I think I will stick to yellow man, but thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
