General Fishing Tips / Lake Berryesa tips
« on: July 11, 2018, 10:32:14 AM »
My family and I are camping at Lake Berryesa on the Steele canyon campsite, in the end of July. I've never been to Berryesa and would like some pointers for fishing. What's best this time a year to fish for? What type of rigs or tackle is used? I don't have much gear to fish fresh water so I will be purchasing some new toys  :smt007

General Fishing Tips / Crab pot rigging
« on: September 07, 2017, 02:37:18 PM »
Can someone help me find an article on how to right crab pots? I've been searching like a mad man and cannot find it for the life of me. Someone made a PDF file and had an awesome step by step instructions on how they rigged their pots. I thought I book marked it but guess not.
Going to start buying my crabbing gear.
Thanks for the help.

Hello to you all :smt006!
I have finally purchased a kayak :smt003 and I am glad to join this community of fellow yakers and fisherman. I purchased a Jackson kraken 13.5 kayak. I am still buying all of my safety necessities but I hope to see you guys in the water soon. Oh, I met "shadow" at HMB on a little yak test run, thanks for the invite to this forum.
