I attended last year's tournament and loved it, and participated in gimme shelter and took third in teams with my buddy Ryan. I've got just over a dozen people signed up, and I'm limiting the event to about 200. 

Seriously though.  It's somewhat problematic to be preparing for a big event and have limited indicators that it's even going to happen.   I get that there are lots more events now than there used to be, and people tend to sign up later.  I've also been trying to honor those who have expressed that the event has grown too large, but I'm having second thoughts about not promoting - it's too hard to live that when the reality is that I look very forward to making this thing as good as it can be for whoever wants to participate.
