Stolen Kayaks

On Thursday 8-10-06 a Covered trailer was stolen during the day from the Aquan Sports Parking lot in San Carlos Ca.  The trailer contained a significant portion of our rental fleet. Descriptions of the lost items are as follows:

Brand New Pace 16 foot white covered trailer, dual axle (no plates).  One side door on the right side and a rear door with tractor trailer style closure.  Side door was locked with built in lock.  Back door was locked with brass combination lock. last 5 number on the VIN 73816

Necky - All Polyethylene
   Eskia - Cloud
   Zoar Sport -
   Chatham 17 - Lime
   Manitou - 13 - Grey
   Manitou Sport - Yellow
   Chronic - Lime

Ocean Kayak
   Scrambler XL - Blue
   Scrambler XL - Cloud (bluish and whitish)
   Venus - Orange
   Malibu II - Red
   Prowler Angler - Yellow

Lendal Paddles
   Fiberglass straight shaft with yellow SF Kinetik Touring blades
   Carbon Modified Crank with Carbon Kinetik touring blades

Carlisle day tripper paddles - unknown quantities

Any help in recovering would be greatly apprectiated!

I temporarily removed replies to the above post.  We just learned that one of the replies included information prematurely leaked by the media.  We do know that the police are making some good progress, but the investigation is still ongoing.  We didn't want to be responsible for tipping off the perpetrator(s).

Let's hope the cops get every one responsible.
