....Dec. 31 st.....I was riding my man-scooter (Piaggio BV 500) to work and my rear tire blew out :smt011 Good thing I was taking the side roads....AND I wasn't wearing my speedos at the time  :smt002

I'm sure glad I shelled out an extra $200.00 for my Motor Cycle Safety Foundation Class  :smt045....coz when shit hit the fan (when my tire blew), my spider man / special forces instinct came into play :smt002 (in other words, I stayed focused and was in total control of the bike)

Wow, good job stayin' in control, Mooch! That's what it's all about.
Did you find out why the tire blew? I'm picturing some kind of 007 sabotage...  :glasses7:
or did you just piss off one of the ladies...? :glasses12:

This was mine, I dropped it too, finally got rid of it after living in SF. Too many giant American cars driven by old ladies going through stop signs.

Actually, it was either stop drinking or get rid of the bike,...  so the bike went, haha:

Below is my new, wintertime project Look out:

I figure with a top speed of 23 mph, my bicycle is probably just as dangerous.

I might put some high risers on it*bling*

I used to ride a Honda 750 Night Hawk, great bike.  Funny thing is I felt safer riding in Southern California more that here in Northern California.  People just are not as observant here.  I finally had enough of close calls and sold the bike to buy my kayak...good trade.  Glad you are ok Mooch!  That could have turned out really bad.

good deal you're still posting...

I've got a whole mess of road rash, a lot of epoxy in my front teeth and a jacked knee, wrist, ankle from my 60mph motorcycle car incident (it was her fault, she made a u turn on the highway)
Here's the one that got smashed

Its replacement...that i sold after being run off the road by an RV on the way to The Valley

Mooch "the Ninja" survives another attempt on his life by the fishing mafia.

Glad to hear things turned out OK.

Sparky may ride fast and have a nice dismount, but has he ever survived a rear tire blowout at 60 mph?
