Last week while dropping down to Trinidad beach at daylight I notice a Beemer stuck in the sand with a lady standing by.  I can't believe someone could stick a car in a sand lot the size of a pitcher's mound, but she did.  She approaches me with a rear view mirror in hand (ancient digging tool).  It's then that  I notice her busted windshield, and not the type you get from a rock but more like what it looks like when you hit a body.  The voice in my head tells me to get back in the truck and get to fishing. The other voice says' "Warning Will Robinson".  All these voices and I'm not even drinking.  I ask her if she'd been stuck here all night.  She said no.  I ask what's up with the rear view mirror?  She said her car was vandalized last week in Cresent City.  Enough talk, get her out and hit the beach.  I look for a tow point beneath her car, she abruptly asks what I'm doing and says she doesn't want to be pulled out. Can  I dig her out she asks?  The screaming voices in my head are both saying "I told you so!"  I pull out my old faithful folding shovel and start shoveling.  After unblocking all wheels I said you should be free.  She asks if I would drive it out of the sand on the parking lot.  Sure, says me.  I begin by backing the car up.  Lady approaches the car and asks what I'm doing?  I said I'm getting your car out!  After three or four back and fourths I get the car free.  I just jump out and say,"There you go lady" Not once during the entire time was I thinking trade :smt007.  I drive 100yds to the beach and notice my shovel is not there.  I left the shovel in her passenger seat.  Do you think when she saw the shovel, that she thought was so handy earlier on, that she would drive down and place it on my truck?  No good deed goes unpunished.  Never saw my shovel again.  I did catch a limit of blues in recored time, though.

The beginning of your story had the makings of a great horror movie (or porno for that matter)...

I voted "go", as in you shoulda just gone fishing.  Any lady dumb enough to park her Beemer in a sand dune (intentionally or not) can use her Blackberry to call AAA as far as I'm concerned.  Unless she's super-hot, and wearing Daisy-Dukes and a teeny t-shirt.  Then I'd be required to help, according to Section 5 Line 2 of the Man Laws.  :smt003

Sorry about the shovel, good job on the blues!
