Title: Arnold, CA in February
Post by: ~BMAC~ on February 04, 2018, 10:24:26 AM
I'll be up in Arnold the week of Presidents' Day and since it looks like there is no snow, I'm thinking about bringing my gear and fishing. How is the bite in February at White Pines Lake, or Alpine Lake? Both are fairly close to the cabin we'll be staying at.

White pines has a fair population of largemouth bass in it, but they don't start biting till april. I'd go look up reports of Melones and see if there is any trout being caught off the shore. Or you can kayak troll the reservoir for them too
