Hey guys, Lowrance just released a wireless transducers that works with android or apple OS. This is a castable, rechargeable self contained wifi device. This particular unit is designed to give bankers a quality sonar option. This unit is not mountable as a traditional transducer... but I'm sure something is in the works, wink. Anyway the applications for is unit is very diverse for kayak fishing, as I see it would be great for... checking areas that are difficult to maneuver into or around such as - dock slips, small cuts, tight bridge pillings, wash rock areas, laydowns, etc. The time saving features especially during a tourney could be invaluable. You can also create contour maps with the 3D unit. I'll try to pick one up and do a review asap. Tight lines guys!

I was looking into those, I'm just more worried about my phone taking a dive into the deep blue TBH.  Also off topic.  will you be at Simply Fishing?
