This weird thing was caught by another NCKA member today in tomales.  Had some choice nicknames for it but no one knew what it was. Sea slug orgy?

I have caught the same thing out there before... have a feeling that it is part of the root system of some aquatic plant.  Just a guess though, sure looks pretty!

I got the same thing out there recently. Really strange whatever it is. Maybe some sort of sponge relative or something? I really have no idea and was wondering the same when I pulled it up. How was the fishing?

Lots of big striper hookups on jacksmelt.  Snazzyshun landed one that was easy 20 lbs.  I had a punishing day of four lost fish with a shark consolation prize.  Heading out tomorrow to get revenge
