Can anyone recommend one of those tracking devices that people put on their bikes in case they get stolen?
I want one for my Hobie. I leave it on my car often, although I use two heavy duty chains and locks as well as a cable on the amas. But in case something happens, it would be great to have a tracking device inside it.

Are there any I should look at?
Thanks,
Andrew

I thought about the "tile" myself. I use it on my key chains, but don't really know if it's require the phone signal or not...!?

+1 on the Tile. They have a sport version which is also waterproof.

IÂ’m pretty sure the tile needs to be within 100 feet (or 200 feet sport version) of your phone.  Works via Bluetooth.  ThereÂ’s an app for that-and if the tile comes within 100 feet of someone elseÂ’s phone running the app, it will alert you that itÂ’s been found.  But I doubt  meth head thieves would have a reason to use the app-so youÂ’d be kinda SOL

Kinda expensive---it's $100 plus a subscription fee that is $100 the first year and (according to one of the reviews) $340 per year thereafter...

Never going to happen. Might hurt someone’s self esteem.
