Hope this is the proper spot to ask this, if not, mods please move to the appropriate forum.

It's always important to check the weather before heading to the big blue.
So this is my question:
Is there a app for my phone (android) that works simular to NOAA point and shoot forcast?
Also is there a app that may be even better for predicting the weather a few days ahead?
Primary info I would be intrested in:
1. Swell height and time and direction
2. Wind speed and direction
3. Tide movement
4. Solunar table
5. Cloud cover and general air temp.
Thanks for any help avail.

I've got a droid and I use the NOAA point and click thru my internet connection.  As the screen is a bit small I take the time to enlarge it, then get the point I want and set it up as bookmark and call them up as needed.  Works great for me.

I believe almost all other weather sites use this info and just present it differently, NOAA point and click has become my go-to to site.

Also, have you ever gone to the bottom of a point and click page and looked at the "hourly weather graph" info,  it gives all data hour by hour and has proven pretty accurate in my experience.

For a graphical tide chart, search the Android Marketplace for the app called "Tide Prediction".
Remember to set the units to feet in the prefs.

Thanks for all the replies,
Looks like there are a few good apps I never knew of.
I installed all of the ones mentioned ... can't be too cautious :smt003
