Welcome to the Madness.

I believe it was our fearless warrior Mooch who once said the difference between a float tube and a kayak is that yakers get to see where they're going instead of staring at where they've already been.  Always loved that line!

Again, welcome!

After yak fishing for a while, float tubes are going to seem so absurd. Kicking below the surface, slower than hell, ect. I believe Mooch also said going from a tube to a yak was like gaining super powers. I'm excited for you, have fun, welcome aboard.

Welcome woolybuggin,

I still have my 30 year old belly boat. Caught some nice fish on it when traveling and on vacations. Sure beats being stuck on the bank!

Never did like my feet dangling down there with snapping turtles, muskrats and beavers though...

I forgot to bring my old float tube, ( Pontoon style) to our local flee market a couple weeks back. :smt012
An old  Kennybeck  pontoon.  I think last time I used it was on Lexington. Years before my first 04' outback!
