After asking about good kayak seats I checked out the Feelfree site to look at their seats. One thing lead to another and I just watched a video on their new Dorado kayak. I’ve thought someone should make an eKayak and now I see Freelfree has. It’s got running lights, stern and cockpit lights. Electronics pod with scupper for the transducer and room for FF battery. It’s got a battery box/power center behind the seat with what looks like room for a full size trolling motor battery. It’s got a cathedral hull. This thing is a plastic boat. I wonder how much it weighs. At 39” wide I wonder if it can be paddled at all. Around $4500 fully equipped. $3000 for pedals only. The eKayak is here. Maybe I should say the eBoat is here.  :smt044

The charm of fishing is that it is the pursuit of what is elusive but attainable, a perpetual series of occasions for hope.  ~John Buchan
