Okay it's second hand, but now I have money to spend else where lol. Got a hands on a used tarpon 140, the president 2008 model. Right now I'm looking for

1. a comfortable seat so I can fish for 6-8 hrs.. a sts gts would would be ideal..

2. Fish finder with GPS any additional features would be cool

3. Hully rollers for the roof of my car, already have a pair of makos, just looking for the rollers to complete it. Open to other sets for loading the kayak onto a honda crv. Straps with it would be awesome too.. -- got my set, thanks rob

4. Need a milk crate for carryin stuff. Planning on 1 tackle box and filling the rest with a lunchbox/cooler for carrying drinks..

5. Not in a rush yet, but interested in a fishing pfd. Want to get a seat fish then decide which ones would be comfortable to sit with along with the seat design.

6. 3lb Anchor

7. Anything else you have that someone with a new yak would need, post it here or pm me and I might pick it up.

Lastly, I am located in west Sacramento.  Can travel or make plans to travel. Also willing to pay for shipping if we make a deal

Thanks guys,
Jace

I have the phase 3 air pro seat in my Tarpon 120. On top of that I've added a gel cushion. It adds a little to the height of the seat, but it has not been a problem for me. It truly is the best. They are not cheap though. Also there are different brands and models. The link below is for a 2inch cushion. It is heavier and better than the 3 inch Medline brand. My first one lasted about a year before it sprang a leak. My second one is a year old and I just re-covered it with duct tape. So far it hasn't leaked. If you want to do longer trips, try one.

The charm of fishing is that it is the pursuit of what is elusive but attainable, a perpetual series of occasions for hope.  ~John Buchan

There's some killer sales on lowrance ff right now id look into that.as far as a crate most strip mall will always have a bunch in the back or most restaurant. Ask first before you take any so not to get into trouble.
My biggest worry is that my wife(when I'm dead)will sell my fishing gear for what I said I paid for it

I started with this crate.  Not very expensive to build and tons of rom for storage.  Since then I've moved on to a Plano box.

They sell them at places like WalMart for less than $5 generally.  Combined with a couple pieces of PVC pipe & zip ties, you have a new setup for under $10.  No need to look for a "used" version of this.

For $199 shipped you can't go wrong with this Lowrance Elite 4 HDI unit (color, GPS), with the maps included.

Thanks! It seems like a really good deal, I'm most likely going to buy that. :D

Ill ask around for a crate or just buy one instead. Long as its not a filmsy one like what I've been reading about from store bought cheapies..

Just my .02 cents worth on the anchor question. I use a 2 lb lead ball. Works fine for everything freshwater. I've also used 1 pounders with no problem.
If you don't know where you're headed, any road could get you there.

Says transducer included, but is it the dual frequency one, or regular.  Having a hard time finding a good deal that doesn't look shiesty.  Ever order from here before?

Good point Al ...  ALWAYS verify what transducer they are including in a 'package deal'.  Just because it is "capable" of working on HDI freq. ISN'T implying that it includes a HDI transducer.
