I plan on checking things out, but not sure if I'll be around Sunday.  This will be the first time I'll lay eyes on this bunch.  I've been following along on the forum, but have yet to get OTW with anyone from the group.  I'll get there, sooner or later, getting tired of fishing solo.

I'm really interested and should be able to make it but it is still not sure. If I do it will be for Saturday only

Do we need to register?

Should I come with my stuff (yak, wetsuit, pdf....) for the sessions?

No need to pre-register.  But we will ask for registration onsite and you will get a wristband in order to participate.  This will allow us to get a headcount for insurance purposes.  Absolutely bring your own gear for seminars.  No better way to get the experience than on your own gear!

Include all please.  You never know when they'll be strolling along and want to try out something.  We'll be issuing wristbands and asking for waivers to be signed, and also need a headcount for insurance purposes.  Thanks.

Me , Myself, and I ,,,,  that's three of us. :smt002      Plus my wife and a friend,,, or two.

For those on the fence this is a great opportunity to compare the various products.   Test the feel of which Werner paddle is best.   Which kayak has the comfort, stability,  speed, or storage capacity you want.

And what better setting than right there at Lake Berryessa, surrounded by friends!

Yes, there is a day use fee at the campground.  However, there is no entrance fee for the festival.

62 voted, with 52 members coming with their group, total is currently right at 100.

Ricci said there are only like 34 paid up for the tourney, which leads me to believe there are a bunch of you that will be signing up for it.  Please get those entries in.

We have a great lineup of seminars forming right now, and will release details soon.

If you are new to this sport, this will be THE event to attend to be able to demo pretty much any kayak you're likely able to buy in Nor Cal, as well as get on-the-water education.

Not to mention that the tournament will essentially be kicking off the NCKA tournament season.

Let's get it on boys and girls.

Chuck E said I should bring just a few (500 maybe!) copies of the summer issue.  :smt002 I can swing a couple-three boxes, at least 100. Get 'em while I've got 'em.

Welcome to the board brotha. You will learn a lot about fishing, kayaking, and tips on rigging your kayak. Theres plenty of old threads on here that can help you learn more about kokanee fishing and bass. just use the search tool on top. Btw, if you plan on fishing the tourney, best send in your registration now. Hope to see ya there. Ricci

Yep Frenchie, that's the place. More info here: http://goberryessa.com/maps/
""From San Francisco: Take Interstate 80 East to Vacaville. Get onto 505 North to Winters and take Exit 128. Turn left at the light, and continue 16.9 miles to Wragg Canyon Rd. Turn right and travel 3 miles to the entrance gate.""

A shorter route is Suisun Valley road out of Cordelia, turns into Wooden Valley Rd., turn right at Monticello Rd.
Oh yeah absolutely.  I wouldn't go 505 to 128 if I was coming from SF. Maybe from Sac...

Here is what Google tells me from San Jose

Get on I-280 S from Meridian Ave
4.6 mi / 10 min

Follow I-680 N to Pittman Rd/Suisun Valley Rd in Fairfield. Take the Suisun Valley Rd/Pittman Rd exit from I-80 E
74.9 mi / 1 h 9 min

Continue on Suisun Valley Rd. Take Wooden Valley Rd and CA-121 S to Steele Canyon Rd in Napa County
24.6 mi / 47 min

Turn left onto Pittman Rd/Suisun Valley Rd
Continue to follow Suisun Valley Rd
7.3 mi

Continue onto Wooden Valley Rd
6.6 mi

Turn right onto CA-121 S
5.5 mi

Turn left onto CA-128 W
443 ft

Take the 1st right onto Steele Canyon Rd
Destination will be on the left
5.1 mi

Lupine Shores
1605 Steele Canyon Rd, Fort Jones, CA 94558

Agreed... Susuin Valley Rd to Wooden Valley Rd is the most direct route (albeit windy). I was just copy&pasting the directions from the Berryessa website.

Pat is just trying to reduce the competition by having Frenchie run out of gas.  :smt044 :smt044 :smt005

Pole pole nd I are pa cking up today and leaving 1st thing in the morning.

I've got tents, tools, coolers, swag rods reels, etc etc etc.  Allen muchthe same if not more.

What we do not have is firewood.....???

Hoping someone might have a stash they can bring in the back of the pickup, especially anyone arriving on Friday?   also need additional power strips multi plugs, and remember to bring any accessories you might want to mount on your Yak.  WE'll be prepared to cut and drill and all that.  And even fix and repair dings, holes and gouges, so bring the "Brother in Law" kayak that leaks.  WE'll fix it, or YOU can fix it with the stuff we'll have there!

My car is half full with hotdogs, chips, and water for lunch at the festival ... on us.  Quantity limited to the first 150.  Hah!

And don't forget to bring a chair down to the festival area for the Saturday evening potluck.  Bring a table too if you have one.

I think I'm ready to go. Just need to load the car and the yak in the morning and I will be on my way. First NCKA event, pretty exciting...

Somebody mentioned potluck, so I will bring hot dog (w/ bun), a few sausages, marinated chicken, a rice salad, a quiche, a 12 pack and coffee

That sailboat looked badass!
Some really beautiful new boats out there! And the folks showing the stuff were very helpful and nice.

Great job on the festival!
