Hi,
Has anyone installed thigh straps and used them on their Stealth kayak? If so, what is the best way to do so? Thanks!

Thanks I'll keep them in mind. Still need to figure out the best way to attach them to my kayak.

Was thinking of doing the same but haven't really looked into the mounting thing. Did you inquire with Dan at headwaters about the potential?

I just added two padeyes to my tarpon when I was using the straps. if you have access to the interior hull it is pretty easy, just need to determine where you want the attachment points to be. On some boats the straps will end up too high if they are attached to the top of the hull.
I had concerns about the plastic padeyes breaking, but I never broke one. That said, I didn't end up using the straps on the Tarpon very much. I use them on my small wave witch kayak and they really help.

Yeah, I left an email with Headwaters yesterday, still waiting on a reply. With the deep leg wells and seating, I'm not sure where to place the padeyes so that I am able to lock the straps with my legs appropriately. Finally, there is the issue of where the strongest attachment points would be.

That's my feelings as well. It's not that the boat needs them, the seat and position really lock a person in well, but man thigh straps would make these handle like race cars.
