Awesome Ben, congrats. I fished out of one when I was in Florida. Great skinny water platform.

Nice! So this is a product you'd recommend...like, are you saying you're going to be peddling a Native soon? :smt008 I haven't seen many propel kayaks around. But I'd love to pedal one.

One could say that I will have a Slayer Propel to bring with me.  And yes, I will be keeping my Revo in case people are interested in comparing the two (although the Slayer Propel is more of an in between of the Hobie Outback and Prangler).   There's no doubt that the Native propel series has some benefits, but won't be the perfect boat for everyone.  I think there's a lot of misinformation out there about Native kayaks as they haven't been widely distributed on the West Coast yet so I hope to bring some clarity to the questions!  I'll be doing some demos down south next week and will post up impressions on hopefully at least a couple of boats.

Sell out!  :smt002 :smt044

Comedy…  :smt044   All Good Ben and have fun with that…  BTW, can the rudder handle be switched to either side?  Outback/Revo and Adventures all have the limitation of only one side for rudder control. can be a problem for south paws or other problems like no right hand at all...

Ben, I took the shop demo out for the first time last night. I've never liked the idea of pedal kayaks, and with that said I had more fun than I wanted to.

Is there anywhere nearby to demo a Native Slayer propel drive?  I'm considering buying one but haven't even been able to look at one in person, much less demo one.  I'm sure I'm going to like it, but it'd be nice to know for certain before I drop that much coin.  I tried my local kayak shop but wasn't able to find one at their storefront or their rental location.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.  Thanks!

Headwaters in Lodi

That's the one place I already checked but they didn't have one to look at. Was hoping someone knew of another place fairly close (within hour and a half drive).

Headwaters in Lodi is the only place that carries them in NorCal. I think they have them at the boat house to demo. They are out of stock currently but should have a new and very large shipment in by the end of the month. Give them a call and make sure to ask for Dan.

Don't give up on us, I think you will find us to be very informative and accommodating.

We have a demo at the boat house. Make sure you reserve it, because it goes out all the time.

We have a truck load of Native Propels shipping today or tomorrow. We will see them in the next 5-10 days.
