Hey guys, I've been looking for a kayak and doing crazy amounts of research on them to get the best one for me and I stumbled upon the Kaku Wahoo 12.5.

I used the search function on here and didn't find any info on it.

Does anyone have any experience or know anything about it? Seems like it gets decent reviews!

Thank!

If you are a fresh water bass fisherman, it may work for you. If you are going out on big blue, not so much, looks fat, and without testing it (flip that thing a few times to see how easy it is to get back over, at 33" you may be challenged to get it back over) I could not say. Every inch of width adds stability but drags you down in speed. If the wind changes and all of sudden it is ugly out there, it may take you a lot longer than you want to get back in.

Thank you for your input! I'm mainly a freshwater fisherman, but want to have the ability to go our in the big blue every now and then. Thanks again!

I know nothing about this kayak but like everyone says on this forum, test it out before purchase especially if this is your first kayak (maybe not).  Kaku Wahoo 12.5 might not be available in this area for demo but Headwaters Kayak in Lodi has bunch of different make and model around that price range. Dan from Headwaters is very knowledgable and he will take care of you (everyone who knows Dan will agree).
