Not driven the Oregon Highways is it better to take 101 or 5 to Tillamook from Calif.

I cut over to 5 to get to Garibaldi. And I live in Eureka. 101 in Oregon is extremely slow going from Florence north past Lincoln City. It might look shorter on a map, but unless you want to take the extremely scenic and utterly amazing coast highway and not be concerned in the least about making good time, take I5.

That's true.  There's also a great tackle shop in Otis called Stickrods that is worth a stop for local knowledge.  Young family run business.  Just don't take any of the cutoffs north until you hit 101.

For TBKD 3 tackle I recommend Tillamook Sporting Goods be sure to drop the tournament name  :smt002 and as for Dru the dude knows the area waters better then most people I know. Plus there one of our sponsors  :smt006

Proud to announce Kershaw Knives is on board
https://kershaw.kaiusaltd.com
Last year they donated over $400 in quality products for us and there on again.

Question should I post up a sponsors list here to notice more migratory kayak fisherman this way or just post them on here? Opinions welcome
Here's the NWKA sponsors list

You are making me want to come up and fish this!  I love the idea of buckles for tournament trophies.

I also lol'd at the notion of down there in California". That'ts in Riverside. I live just as close to Vancouver BC as I do to Riverside.

Drag your arse up here man, I'll have three extra kayaks if someone from down there wants a loaner but only two are native propels so better hurry the third is a Jackson Big Tuna.

Ain't my fault some idiot back in the day decided your state looked better horizontal instead of vertical.

Hey Mojo,  It looks like some of the Loose Screws will be coming up to fish your event.  We're still working on the details but there may be three of us coming up from Norcal.
