Title: WTB - reliable budget car

Need to buy a vehicle for my wife's gopher/assistant.  Something beater, but runs.  Aesthetics not a primary concern, but keep in mind she is a teenager (the gopher, not the wife...)

I have a 2000 Monte Carlo.  It doesn't look like much,  but it runs.

1999 ford explorer  2wd 4door with 230k miles. White and looks and runs good, no dents, Good tires, clean as a pin inside!  with a 4.0 v6 and auto trans. Ac just repaired (by me) Is registered and will be smogged ready to go soon... $2200.00 Will be putting up on CL for $2500.00
