I've lurked on the board for a little while now, but I finally have a reason to register.  I'm in the Coast Guard, going on 12 years, and I'm finally getting stationed out in Northern Cali.  I've been fishing all my life and have technically been kayak fishing (out of pirogues) for about 20 years.  I purchased a Hobie Pro Angler about 1.5 years ago and haven't looked back.  I fish both fresh and saltwater but my passion is definitely bass fishing.  I'll be in Petaluma for the next four years and look forward to getting out on Clear Lake, Lake Berryessa, Lake Sonoma, and the Delta.  I've got plans to do some bottom bumping in Tomales and Bodega Bay as well once I figure out all the regulations and restrictions that come along with fishing in California!! 

I'm a tournament junkie as well so you'll definitely see me at any local events fresh or salt!!

Welcome to the MADNESS! 

One of things that I really appreciate when I am on the ocean is knowing that if things go bad, I can activate my EPIRB and help will be on the way. Thank you for all that you do and welcome to NCKA. Also if you were in the coast guard boat that had to rescue kayakers at Crab Fest this year, sorry about that. We are usually not that lame and it wasn't me.
