I currently have a Ocean Trident 13 which I use around SF Bay and on lakes, but I want to carry a yak , vertically on the rear of my RV.

Anyone have any recommendations for a 10 ft or so,  SOT  for fishing on lakes?

thanks for any info.

A Wilderness Tarpon 100 would work.

I have a pescador 120 which is 12' but they make a 100 which is 10'. It is similar to a wildly tarpon but a little cheaper. Used to be  sold at sports authority and maybe Costco? West marine sells a similar yak and  calls it a pompano I believe. Mine has been a great kayak for me, built in rod holders, paddles excellent, comfy seat, lightweight. I have no complaints for what was s 400 $ kayak brand new on a good sale. I have no idea what they are asking now though.

I have a mini-x that I will be selling soon to fund my turning to the dark side.
I will include a nice seat, paddle and a drift anchor set up for river fishing.
And sweet rodholder.
And a older Rollez cart.
$375. Firm. Pick up Santa Rosa.
What do ya think. I will send ya picks if you are interested.
Gonna go demo a compass in 2 weeks.
Want a Revo but low on funds.
David

I'm partial to the seat in a Wilderness Systems Tarpon 100, but you can't beat the mini-x for rigged weight.  I could carry that with one hand.

Native Slayer Propel 10 would fit perfectly on the back of an rv, especially if you have some sort of gate to attach it to. That's because its got a nice flat stern.  very stable, standable, pedal drive, about 60lbs in weight.  Only problem is it's a bit on the expensive side for just a spare kayak.

-this is only sort of an advertisement for Native.

I received MPs from john and you. John has first dibs and I need to send him some better pics. I couldn't yesterday due to being sick. When I get off work if I have any energy left I will send you both better pics.
David
