Wow looks like the Jetty campground is filling up fast. If it fills up, any camp spot at Doran Beach will do. The Jetty campground is the closest to where the event will take place.

Never crabbing on the yak...  What do you guys use... Hoop nets or those Danielson traps?

Most use promars... Chucke has an article on gear and such check it out.

Personally I use a few promar pots and 4 promar rings the rings keep me busy while I wait for pots to fill up

Is crabbing off a yak pretty cut and dry? Bait and drop pot with floater, come back take out, sort crab and redrop? This will be my first time crabbing off yak  :smt003

Its super simple. Vwool, does teach a clinic here at the store some time before the event.
