Hey whats up everybody! I know there is a new event coming up on November 9 in Monterey—the 1st annual Catch and Cook Competition (http://www.norcalkayakanglers.com/index.php?topic=89249.0). So it seems like a good time to do an oldschool MBF (Money Between Friends). Just a friendly little competition amongst friends :-) Something for the hook & line folks to do. Maybe $10 each...and heaviest fish gets the cash?

I’m just thinking out loud here. But I chatted with Keeneroo before posting this message. If there’s enough interest, the Catch and Cook Comp could potentially be opened up to hook & line participants next year.

Thoughts?

It would be rad to see some of the NCKA hook n line community out here for the family fun event. Lots to do even if you're not a diver plus your big fish could win the MBF.

Beach Clean Up (Free - open to public - win prizes)
Raffle (Your ticket gets chosen, you pick your own prize... some non-dive related prizes are: steakhouse dinners, sushi dinners, seafood dinners, custom gyotaku fish prints, free tours and rentals, high end knives, clothing, dry bags, swag, etc.)

There's definitely a fish under THIS rock....
