Hi everyone, this is Bluewater Jon Schwartz. I've got a new website filled with wild kayak fishing stories and pics. It's http://www.bluewaterjon.com/ Today,I wanted to share with you a pic, and a link to the accompanying story, to a time when I lucked out with a nice white seabass at dawn and brought it in to my third grade class for a day of fun and learning. I made it to school just as the bell rang to line them up!
Here is the link to the story- it's story #9

Danglin, Tx! I am busy right now trying to catch something significant for them. I had an episode the other night with a seven gill shark where I wanted to get a pic but my cam wouldn't work as it was too dark- everytime I got him to yakside, I would try in vain to snap a shot, and he kept doing rolls and biting through the mono leader before I could get a snapshot. I got so frustrated that I beached my yak, with him still on the line way past the breakers, in hopes that I could land him from shore and get my cam to work there but he proved to be too wily, and the mono, too brittle. Still made for a good tale though!
Take care,
Bluewater Jon Schwartz
