Mooch. I was hoping to learn the art of turkey calling from you before the season started.  I tried to do the gobble the way you did.  it turned out ok.

Nice Gobbler Andy
always wondered how you make those tail feathers spread :smt005
Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

A Steelhead always knows where he is going, but a Man seldom does.

Nice hunter/gatherer skillz! When I was at mendo I heard that turkey call and was waiting for you to come out of the woods but I guess it was the real thing. Maybe you can come and kill the herd that stands in the road when im on my way to work? Normally it would be "ramming speed!" but its still kind of a new truck.

Mooch is right.  You use your free hand to fan out the tail.  The hand is very close to the bunger.

Hydro-  I too want to have a DEATH RACE 2000 (old school movie) when driving to and from work.

People say that turkeys are dumb.  This may be true in some ways, but when your at the bottom of the food chain, and EVERYTHING in the forest wants to kill you, your skills become very good. They have excellent hearing and eyesight, and are able to sometimes dodge 12 Ga 3 inch mag's like in the MATRIX.

Sweet!  I'm going next week in Hollister for 4-days on an archery-only combined pig and turkey hunt.  Hope to have some pics of the sucess to post!
