I will post a review.
Better.....
I don't know maybe just different the single handed with a four haul is a thing of joy and when you shoot that line and it all goes out the basket and pulls hard on the reel it's a thing of beauty.
The 2H OH caster is for distance.  I've been getting frustrated with my.casting lately big dukey dumps of line piled up aways gm out not not far enough....

Getting ready for my first event.
Stoked.
I heard tell there is a potluck after the fishing on Sat.  Any more details? I'm planning on packing food for the group.  Any thoughts or considerations........

Hey Scott,
I hope to meet you there. I throw line as well but yet to in the salt. I got an old able broom stick 10wt. I've been meaning to try with a shooting head system currently I've only got an I line on it.  I've still got to set it up what size head (assuming your using that) do you shoot leviathan? I mainly play with my 6-8wts off the beach for perch and strippers.

Fish Talk / Rock Fish ID card
« on: September 10, 2019, 10:56:47 PM »
Hey people,
I'm looking for a recommendation on a good waterproof / laminated west coast rock fish ID card to keep on the yak.
Any thoughts and or recommendations on where I could get on?
Another option is printing and laminating (I do have access to a laminater.  Any thoughts on high resolution pics I download?
Or maybe some ones got one memorized and doesn't need theirs anymore..

Thanks

General Fishing Tips / Breaking up & Repackaging Frozen Baits
« on: April 16, 2019, 01:39:18 PM »
Hey all,  :smt006
I wanted to see if any one wanted to share their tips on breaking up or repackaging frozen baits. I thinking frozen squid, hearing, sardines any tray or block type frozen baits that are frozen together.  I findmyself either giving away or more often feeding the fish unused baits.  If I can pre package what I think I'm going to use for the day or days then I might save some money or at least have the bait hold up as little longer.  All that being said, what are the colective thoughts on salting said baits to keep stiffer or sented? And what baits would you salt?
I know I've met guys on the party boats for salmon that use glitter and such for their rigs.....
Jury duty...........
