I already have a 17' outboard bass boat and a 17' CLC kayak but looking to sell them both off this spring in favor of a fishing yak. I joined the group here in hopes to get some advise, on a new yak, that will serve me well in the lakes and on the coast/bay.

Howdy folks!

Did you build the CLC kayak?

Welcome!

No, the CLC was a bit of a "hand me down" from a friend that moved and couldn't bring it with.  I have plans and lumber for a smaller yak that should fit me better but just haven't had the time and lost space to work on it for now.

Thanks for the welcome.

Welcome aboard Navin.  PM me if you're interested in the 2017 Hobie Outback.

Sell the Optigrab patent.  It should be enough to get a nice yak.

Welcome, NRJ. I’m a fan of Hobie kayaks, so let me know if you have any questions about them.
Please don't spoil my day, I'm miles away...

A CLC fishing kayak might be amazing. I love their waterlust sailboat with sleeping berth and mirage drive. Imagine the possibilities.
