Hi everybody. I'm headed down to Santa Cruz for the weekend of June 9th and 10th. Was wondering if the halibut have showed up. Any news? Also any tips or advice on fishing the area. I'll be staying off west cliff and was thinking about launching from the harbour

Hey just want to say thanks to everyone for giving me advice, especially those who sent me PM. I made it out yesterday and had a blast. Launched from the harbor and headed out to the mile buoy. Fished from 6:30 to 2:30 at which it just got too windy. Unfortunately I could bag a keeper but I did manage three shorts. All three measured out at 21", just short. Total bummer but still had an awesome time. Thanks again to everyone
