Ok you guys....i finally have a chance to go out n fish in a couple of weeks.  I m going to halfmoon bay for the first time and I am a rookie when it comes to kayak fishing.  Where are some easy spots for me to launch and fish.  Big thank you in advance!

there are no fish in HMB LOL. Launch by HMB kayak the folks works there are pretty awesome.

there are no fish in HMB LOL. Launch by HMB kayak the folks works there are pretty awesome.
no crabs neither,unless someone shares their secret spot
My biggest worry is that my wife(when I'm dead)will sell my fishing gear for what I said I paid for it

I went to hmb a few times in dec.  Pretty slow.  5 dungees and a load of rockcrab....fyi

There are many more.

Also, be sure to stay away from the rocks to the right when you paddle out. Big breakers can surprise you, think Mavericks.

I'll probably be going crabbing there on the 3rd or 4th. Let me know if you want to try and hook up.
