So far Kokotat fits that support as well.  I went on a study of what the anti reverse switch is for on some spinning reels including this one and found some funny explanations.

You guys rock scouting the area.  My buddy caught a 29' hali off shore OP at 3pm ish today... :smt006

oooo, it's coming!
Monday’s looking rotten so I may have to pull a weekday pass depending on the tide.

Gearing Up and Rigging Up / Go Shimano!
« on: March 21, 2024, 10:39:09 AM »
The engage mechanism in my thunnus 4000 spinning reel was not locking after the bait setting was disengaged.  I've gotten used to my tranx and avet but this little spinning reel has monstrous capabilities supposedly if a get a monstrous hookup opportunity someday.  The list they replaced for 37$. seems like they overhauled it and seems basically new.  They threw in a new spool as well.

4-6 weeks turnaround.  The only concern I had was not putting a reference note in the shipping envelope.  Trusted the USPS and did not pay for insurance.  I put the repair reference # on the outside of the envelope and possibly one other #.  Next time I will put all info. inside.

Carbon Fiber Baby!  No fish gonna mess with these mamah' jammah's.. :smt005 :smt007 :smt006

I like the revised version 😊

I was delighted to see that CDFW incorporated our comments.

Paul
In what document?
JoeDubC and I commented on moving out the waypoint #63 (near Fort Ross), approximately 1/2 mile, and the final version relocated it.
This revision provides access to all our favorite rockfish spots.

Paul
That is gold!  Thanks for putting me on your favorite spots... :smt007 :smt006 :smt005

I’m reading a 6 week window in SF management area?  I guess that’s a start?

6-month nearshore (<20fm) rockfish season for SF, Mendocino, and Northern Management areas.

Paul
I must've done the month math wrong.  I found a chart on the cdfw page that I read over and over in shock so thanks for confirming better results.  I believe I found the schedule for last years debacle.   :smt006

You gonna go out with me for some ling this year Eddie?
I have deep fomo ptsd so if I do not go out with you I may as well start my crochet classes...I'm in and o' so grateful..we should go celebrate early and have a shore fishing session. :smt005  :smt006

Hobie Kayaks / Re: Well. My 2022 Outback Hull cracked.
« on: March 04, 2024, 10:41:15 PM »
Update!!  Billy called. Hobie is putting a new hull on the next shipment out.

They covered it.  I’m going to add more stuff foam in the interior strategically I think.  Cheap yoga blocks from the thrift store.
Did you grab a different color just for fun? :smt006

Haha.  I was too nervous to speak excited.  Asking for a new color wasn’t on my radar.
I hear ya'...glad you scored...see ya' on da wattah'...
