For Sale / Re: Hobie Livewell for sale

I’m selling my Hobie V2 livewell. I have used it for minnows maybe 10 times and used it as dry storage and rod holder a few time also. It looks and work like new. I don’t think I’ll be using it anymore so I need to sell it. The are $480 new. I’m asking $250 for NCKA members. PM me if interested. I live in Rancho Cordova.

I want, how to pay?

General Talk / Re: Return to Ketchikan (20 years later)

I was thinking about planning a trip for next summer/fall back up to Ketchikan and recreating one of the original NCKA storms Alaska trips. I know Bushy, Howard and Allen pulled off the salmon shark trip since the first trip but this would be halibut, salmon and bottom fish oriented.

I will be Ketchikan Alaska there around end of June 2024 if everything run smoothly. If you happen be there at that time, we can have a cup of beer with a salmon BBq together?

Hi All,

I am sorry that i might be unable to join this party this year. I am sure you guys will have great time there and hope can hear your interest stories and see more pictures from this party.

Mr X

It would be very cool to hang out with Mr. and Mrs. X this weekend, I hope you can make it!  Would love to hear more about your adventures over some beverages  :smt003
Hi Mr X,

Some info about the event site attached.
Sorry for the short notice. I've been battling some health issues.

Not much wiggle room with dates this late so I landed on the 15th of March.

Hope to see some of you there!  :smt001

First time to see this activity, sorry, what is it? Where is this event?
This event "happens" at the O'Neill forebay group site A or B or both. Right below the san Luis reservoir dam. Not for the Easley offended or those that cannot handle others doing what they want when they want... it is a great time with the best and wildest (in every way!) people. Come go Feral with the group! Fish on the forebay, cook and potluck with super good camp cooks. Shenanigans LATE into the night, loud, big fire, goats, sheep... You get the Idea? Leave normal behind and come play... There is space to get out of the main body group if it's to much. Fishing can be good or not. Launching right from camp for Kayaks. Mostly family safe. Remember to have your vessel CLEAN AND DRY they do inspections as you come in...Rain or shine Storm troopers will be there.

Hi Weimarian,

Thanks for your explanation, three questions:
1. Where exactly the location? I cannot find the site A and B in map, please check the map screen copy
2. What need to bring and how to pay the cost?
3. Usually people will bring their family members or not? (Why I ask, because My wife will Be unhappy if i go alone)

Thx

1. https://www.parks.ca.gov/?page_id=30712 2. Bring your camping gear and sharable pot luck stuff plus food for yourselves. cost is usually $20.00 per car/person. We split it up and pay Rock hopper (host) 3. bring family, yes many do. if you are Easley offended or are against adult beverage and other adult things around young or teen age kids. Don't... there will be a party atmosphere, rave, fire, half naked Andy and others :smt044 :smt044 :smt044
