Wow!  You did an excellent job of holding yourself together through it all.  Add in a bit of panic and it could have been a different ending.

Might want to stuff a couple of cyalume sticks somewhere, best if you can get a couple to fit in or on your PFD.  That's the only truly dependable light I know of in almost all conditions.

Otherwise: helluva job you did pulling a save out of a hairy situation.  Prepare for "if ever again" and pat yourself on the back a little for getting home from this one, too.
