I've read those guys get almost as big as halibut.  How'd they measure up?

They've got small mouths, so a slight modification of the rig to target them a bit might be good.  Maybe a smaller hook a couple inches back from the main bait with a single grass shrimp...  There's still no way I'd hang a hook farther than that from the main bait.

The starry flounder I caught was the size of a dinner plate.

I witnessed Dave and his buddy catch a BIG one at Davenport last year.

I hear they are making a come back in the Bay.

i did dump some beers accidentally but i rescued them. however my anchor would not hold in that swell. i paddle in and fished shallow for a while but no fish there.
