I have a party to go to at 6 PM so I might need to head back a little early. Any feel like giving me directions to the launch?

Buck's landing has a little sign thats only visible if you're coming from the north on San Pedro Road... if you're coming from China Camp, it's the only road to your right (an extreme right) after you leave the park at the top of a hill before you get into the residential area.

There is no bait at bucks, but you can get it at loch lomond marina and just follow the road around to bucks.  Last time the high tide blocked a few roads, so you may not want to drive a low-rider...

Here's the weather as of tues:
Fri And Sat
N to NE winds 5 to 15 kt...becoming light each afternoon.

Better wind in the afternoon?  SWEEET!  NE would blow us home too...

I'm finally rigged and ready so I'm in also.  Bill, what time are you planning to head up, I'll follow.  Also, how cold did it get out there last time?  I wanna layer appropriately.

Hey art I was going to try to follow Ken, I have no idea where I am going :-)

Do you want to try to load your yak on my jeep and we can ride up together? The only deal is I need to be back by 5:30 so I might need to leave a little early.

FYI Art and I are the only people entered in the sturgeon pool, you guys better put your money in quick!!

Those directions are quite accurate.  It's just slight left, or extreme right, off san pedro road with a little sign, just past china camp if you follow the san pablo around after hitting the bait shop.  The sign can only be seen if you're driving west on san pedro rd.

If you see a bunch of burnt down boats, you're in the right place!

Bill I'll be borrowing my pops' beater vehicle so I'm good on that end.  I just wanted to follow to ensure I don't get lost(which happens anytime I'm north of the gate. :smt001 )

Whats the bait availability like at loch lomond, should we call ahead?

Loch lomond carries grass, ghost and mud shrimp, and probably more stuff in the freezer, but I've only been interested in the shrimps.

Here's a map to san pedro road.  You want that 3rd st exit for the bait shop: http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp?searchtype=address&country=US&addtohistory=&location=GCtzKhlywIVmhivhFYpONRCQPsnLyumQYdT5n47eyrS%2fTPt9ZMye5MM0EE1PxavY8l43%2f8a8rKnsGqpX0lkUylFpaKlV7B7BCfMYGYzdqLK7dJe%2fn%2fNT765h3MHULa5qbUELeRhouyTMGXu09IkXEg%3d%3d

I figured they had the shrimp but do they usually have large supply? A lot of the bait shops here are at the mercy of the suppliers and sometimes you can't find grass or ghosties anywhere.

They usually have enough to go around... also Western Boat... just down the street from Loch Lomond sells both types of shrimp as well.

Hi Bill and Art,

I may leave a little early.  Around 8 or 8:30 am from Sunnyvale.  Depends when everyone else gets there.

No problems on following me.  Just don't be late or I am gone.  We can meet at Bill's house.

Ken

Count me in for Saturday.... unless I end up duck hunting instead.   Hmmm..... maybe I should bring my shotgun so can anchor up near a duckblind and take a whack at passing ducks :smt002

FYI... Here's the tide chart for Gallinas Creek for Saturday...

http://www.mobilegeographics.com:81/locations/2076.html?y=2005&m=1&d=22

Right now... www.windsurf.com is predicting almost flat calm conditions for Saturday... you guys might be in for a perfect day... rather than the perfect storm.

Dang... wish I could go...

Hey Ken - if you guys are going through the Great Hwy route, let me know - I can wait there and join the convoy. (just like last time)

I have the worse sense of direction / I've been to Buck's Landing 3 times and I still can'y find it on my own  :smt011

Erik handed me the framed group photo to present to the Buck's Landing Bar. Josh - will you be joining us? I figured that you should present it.

Erik - no worries, you will be the first to hear about the report - I'll give you a call as soon as we get out of the water  :smt023
