Henry is newly obsessed with Lego's. It was only a matter of time really, now when I pick him up at school I find him huddled over a big tub of legos with some of the other kids hurriedly picking and creating before the parents arrive. It's funny really, some kids on the swing set, a few boys huffing playing with legos and the rest of kids around an ultimate fighter style octagon playing some sort of slap-ball?  I asked if the octagon was a schoolyard fightclub and one of the teachers nearly lost it while the others thought I was horrible. I know where I can make alliances at least :)

Anyway, does anyone have some unused legos they want to part with. I see them advertised by the pound and thought I'd check here before ebaying 15# of plastic parental torture devices (when I was a kid i thought caltrops were brutal, now I know better. Break out the hidden lego for ultimate revenge) :)

Good luck on the Lego hunt...they sell by the lb. in some venues, thrift stores sometimes carry LEGO's in stray bins or complete bins.  The octagon slap game is called ga ga ball and my kids seem to get involved in that game at a family camp we attend.

I have a $200 Lego gift card that is not being used if you're interested? PM me if you're interested and we could work out a deal...

Yeah, Legos can get a little crazy. I have purchased so many sets and they still get them out and build things still. Damn things are expensive always looking at flea markets and garage sales.

Legoland is fantastic for kids.  We bot a membrship have driven down 2x.  if you stay overnight at the Legoland hotel, the food is included and surprisingly delicious.  the rooms were meeeeh, but you can't beat the proximity to the park.  i think its worth it.

Or check out the Sheraton on the backside.  There is a private entrance there.
