I have really enjoyed the addition of DOTY to the NCKA forum! Ultimately, this has made it easier to find a dive buddy to get out there and be safe. I believe that the NCKA forum is a friendly place for members and lurkers to acquire helpful information that may help them in fulfilling their goals above and below the water.
Let's not forget that the DOTY is a competition. Yes, alot of us are competitive, if we claim it or not.

If I surpass Bigjim in points will this alleviate Nathan's stress level? :smt002

Just trying to help out. E2G?

Keep up the good work moderators!

First of all thanks again to the NCKA moderators and the family of NCKA for allowing and for the most part supporting a Kayakdiving group/ comp. Jim, Harold, and Rick Thank You for your time and all the work you folks put in.  (I now carry zipties all year not just ab season).  Jim your post brings the reason I believe most of participate in DOTY.  With that being said  I may have to find a DOTY Anonymous meeting sooon. This year so far I have made 6 trips from Reno to various locations on the Calif. coast to "Get More DOTY Points". But have yet to post a single FW trip/fish,  this after driving past dozens of prime FW fishing spots.....

I think the farther down he falls the more driven he will get.

Jim, a trip north sounds good, heck I may even get in the water
