1st Annual Fish Like a Girl Tournament

This sounds like a great and fun event! I will check my calendar and see what we can do! I would love to participate, but need to make sure I can get the days off (starting a new job in a week).

I’m excited to announce the first annual Fish Like a Girl Kayak Fishing Tournament. The tournament and party will be on October 3rd, 2020! Registration will be open on March 2nd.

 

Hi NCKA fam! Unfortunately I had to move the tournament up a week due to a scheduling conflict at the KOA. The new date is September 26th 2020, which is one week after simply! So spend a couple weeks on the coast and hit 3 of the coolest campgrounds I know- shelter cove, ocean cove, and Manchester KOA! I would have liked to have a date in October but it didn’t work out this year. Maybe next year! Thank you for understanding!

The KOA has moved the 24 reservations associated with the tournament to the week earlier so please check your email and make sure you got a confirmation email of the change. Please call the KOA if you didn’t receive an email and have them switch your reservation to the weekend of the 26th. I am going to hold off on posting registration until next week because I want to make sure I update the dates everywhere and there is no confusion about when it is. Thanks again for being flexible and adaptable!

Sounds great Annie, so the 26th is Fish like a Girl the Saturday after Simply Fishing. I’ll see you at both.

The tournament and event are canceled . Nick and I still plan to go up Friday through Sunday on the weekend of the 26th. 2020 is a bust. The first annual FLAG tournament will be in fall 2021. Sorry for the inconvenience. If you want to cancel your reservation call or email the KOA.
