OK ... it's related to kayak fishing only because the room for rent has space in the garage to store your kayak.   You can even use my Triple.  I have a room for rent in my house in the Willow Glen neighborhood of San Jose.  I'm home less than half the time as I spend the rest of the time in Seattle.  The house is fully furnished.  I'm mainly looking for someone to "be around" so the house isn't so empty all the time.  Price is negotiable (whatever is fair), and I can cut deals for yardwork, etc.

Just think though Joel you will be a lot closer to Lexington, Stevens Creek, Oyster Point, Oneil Forebay etc...

Plus 5 minutes from Mel Cottons and my place!

sorry Bill......but I need the salty air of HMB to actually function  :smt002

But it really is a tempting offer but the word "yard work" kinda scared me a bit  :smt003

Hey Allen - how big is your garage? Uncle Joel has a lot of toys  :smt002

Tito Joel,

The garage is plenty big enough.  It holds all my toys and I can still see the concrete slab.  If you run out of space, there is always the basement!

I guess you didn't understand what I meant by yard work.  You can pick night crawlers out of the yard to use for bait, and while you're at it, you might as well snip back the grass a bit.

Oh ... my girlfriend will set you up with all her single women friends!!   :smt007

One more question:

How far of a drive from your place to Foster City?

32.3 miles to Foster City ... so says Yahoo maps.  I do live very close to Mel Cotton's, too close!

I drove to Foster City everyday for a year and it was not that bad. Basically 280 North, 92 East and exit. Traffic right when I got on 280 until just after the 880 split. Traffic can get bad on 92 but you already know that. On the way home 280 will slow down at Magdelana and again starting around DeAnza depnding on the time of day. IIRC it was about 30-40 minutes in the moring and 45 to an hour on the way home. You can always stop at Fisherman's Wharehouse on the way home to kill time though.

I'm looking in the $500-700 range ... which is what I've previously rented the room for.  Wife and kids don't cut it.  I'm looking for a single renter.  Mooch, I got your phone call last night.  I'll call you tonight.
