Title: Halfmoon bay launch...
Post by: Cchonggoo on November 14, 2017, 10:38:01 AM
Ok you guys....i finally have a chance to go out n fish in a couple of weeks.  I m going to halfmoon bay for the first time and I am a rookie when it comes to kayak fishing.  Where are some easy spots for me to launch and fish.  Big thank you in advance!

Here's a thread with some launch info I found useful:

There are a lot of old posts on where to fish and crab. Here's one for fishing:

There are many more.

Also, be sure to stay away from the rocks to the right when you paddle out. Big breakers can surprise you, think Mavericks.

I'll probably be going crabbing there on the 3rd or 4th. Let me know if you want to try and hook up.

Good luck and post a report.
