Hey all.  I am new to the kayak world, actually still looking to buy one.  But I'm looking forward to diving and fishing with it.  I am up in Humboldt and I see kayakers out on the water quite a bit.

Welcome aboard, mate!  Many of us have buddy yaks, so if there is a hookup you're interested in, post to see if someone can bring it.  Good luck on your yak search, and see you OTW.

Fishing is now! Get out there! Go with a guide (there's a few on this site). If you like it then there's plenty of folks on here that can help you gear out and get started. Good luck!

Thanks guys.  I am pretty much set on fishing and diving gear.  I just need the kayak to get me to some new places.
