Am I having flashbacks?!!  :smt044
In the last 9 years, many companies have produced knock-off versions of the Lucanus. I’ve done pretty well with the Williamson or Braid brand that I normally buy from overstockbait.com for like $4 on sale.

They work good, expensive and snags easily the heavier ones
My biggest worry is that my wife(when I'm dead)will sell my fishing gear for what I said I paid for it

I left one out near the whistle buoy at Shelter Cove three or four years ago.  It worked great until I snagged the bottom with it.   There are "knock-offs" around for much less but I haven't tried them.
