Hookups and Fishing Reports (Viewable by Public) / Re: Napa river report

I had the same reaction when I purchase my first Kayak. "Why didn't I do this sooner." I also had no issues with getting skunked because being on the water was enough. Even now I'm itching to get out in it, it's been in storage for the past 4 months after my move. I Plan on digging it out this weekend and getting ready for last minute adhoc launches.

Enjoy your new addiction.

I recommend a Pedal kayak as well. I have both but enjoy the pedals much more when fishing. I love to paddle when on smaller rivers. Welcome, I'm new to the area and kayaking for about 3 years.

So sad but I still have not been out on the water since I've moved back to the West Coast. Started shopping last week for gear so I can finally get out. Have you been out lately?

I'm very jealous, moved back to CA four months ago and still haven't been out on the kayaks fishing yet. Looked like a great day on the water. Thanks for sharing.

I'm a long time fisherman, two years of freshwater kayaking, green saltwater kayaker. I have multiple yaks depending on the mood. My wife and two boys also join me on occasion for a paddle or tossing he pole in the water.

Recently moved from Texas back to West Marin and looking for a mentor that can help ramp up my saltwater skills.

Additional passion is my motorcycle and dirt bikes.

Nice to meet you all.

Cheers!

Welcome. But, I don't recommend tossing your pole in the water. That can get expensive.

Considering that I don't current have floats on my rods it would get expensive and boring very quickly.  :smt002
