huge tide on sat 9 ft of water will have to leave the bay. bring a big anchor to china camp, lets catch sturgeon!
-
Hey... I'm in! It's looking like textbook sturgeon conditions.
I'm considering launching from Buck's Landing so that I can fish until sunset and still be able to get out of the water.
You can't get back to the beach at China Camp if the tide is minus.

Hey Fellas. Glad to see you guys. Thanks to Bill for setting up the board.
I'm seriously thinking about trying for sturgeon tomorrow (Thursday). The tide looks good. I may try somewhere near the Oakland Airport.
I'll let you know how I do if I go. I'd like to join you guys Saturday at China Camp, but I'll be gone this weekend.
If, by chance, any of you guys can make it tomorrow, well... you guys have my phone number and email.

what time are you showing up tommorrow? i might go at 9am and plug for stripers, then anchor up for sturgeon.
-
I'll be there at around 10:30 or so... I'll probably forego the striper plugging and just head straight out to anchor for sturgeon.
I'll be monitoring Channel 69...

Chris, I'm carpooling with John & Mike......but I do like the idea of fishing for Stripers as well...I'll give you a holler if I can get the brothers to leave earlier and hook up with you :smt065
Chris....stop buying six-packs of beer for a couple of weeks and use the saved money for a VHF radio :smt020
