 I'm so sorry for you and your family. This is a bad time for that kind of news
 and it will hurt for a while. Think back when you both shared the good times and it will make it a little more bareable. I lost my father some years ago and remember him at his finest moments. Once he fell off the dock as he was about to go fishing,THAT was a moment!
Respond to life as if it is the first day of your life and the last day of your life.
