Came across this on YouTube. Interesting to see how fish react to swimbaits.

I Dropped my Camera 100 FEET DEEP into the Ocean for Rockfish.. THIS is What I Saw!

Cool.

I'm surprised that his camera is pretty bright at 100ft?

Cool little camera, it's nice to see how the fish react. It would have been nice to put a piece of squid on and see what the difference would be with the lingcod.

$million dollar idea for free.  Sliding egg camera with LED and WiFi.

I really enjoyed this view of how RF lings and cabs behave.  that one bruiser cruiser halibut was a trip!  makes me wonder how many have cruised past my bait like that dammit.

This one is really nice, I loved it.

Fisherman's Life has a really long uncut underwater video as well, now that I am looking for it I can't find it..  Maybe someone else who is better at finding it can! it's another great resource, but Daniel's video is way easier to see.

OK, Ima go put hooks on my weights. And maybe get one of those cameras and put a hook on it, too. They seem to work better than swimbaits!

Oh, a hook on the weight sounds like the “Juan-Ounce” rig. For those of you who may not know, that’s a Mako1 specialty.

Nice video!

Seeing this makes me even more convinced that scent/juice/oils are helpful when fishing swimbaits. So many curious fish that decide not to strike, or only strike once... hopefully the flavor convinces them to strike more or again?

Thoughts?

That's exactly what I got out of the video to be honest lol.

I agree. Putting a strip of squid on a swimbait might help too.
