Mooch's Niece Rini

Mooch's niece Rini got Breast Cancer a few years ago and had a double mastectomy...

The Breast Cancer has now come back...

Rini has been forced to take time off work, and bills are piling up, and she still has bills from last surgery.

She also has no $ for school, or for freezing her eggs since chemo can cause infertility and they want to remove her ovaries since she is a high risk for ovarian cancer as well.

Friends and family have been reaching out on FB for financial help for her with a gofundme.com account.

We saw it on FB cuz we have been "friends" with her and her sister since the first PIF in 2010.

The A-Hulls feel that Mooch is and always will be part of the NCKA family, and if his family needs help and we can afford to help we think we should.

We decided unanimously to send Rini $5,000 to help with the expenses associated with her Breast Cancer, and zapped it over to her via PayPal this AM.

Before we sent the donation we had $21,683 in PayPal and $179 in checking for a total of $21,862.

$21,862 minus $6k earmarked for Steph, and $1,500 for AOTY/DOTY trophies left us $14,362 in available PIF funds.

After this $5,000 donation we still have $9,362 for future PIF needs (like if Steph needs more than the $6k or if Shicken needs help etc).

We hope this is in line with what the NCKA community feels we should be doing with the PIF $, and hope you join us in keeping Rini in your thoughts and prayers.

You're a great Chief Financial Officer and a Social Worker at the same time.  More power to you and praying for a speedy recovery for Rini.  I have a close friend who will start her breast cancer treatment soon.  Its hard to imagine what they have to endure.
