After years with the same brand, and many other yaks before that, the force of the dark side has pulled me in.
After going over the many choices, positives and negatives, the new yak had to be similar to what I am used to, and must paddle as well as peddle. A little wider (28.5") than my Ultra (28") and similar stability, the choice had to be the Hobie Revo-13. Another bonus is the lighter weight compared to the outback.
And who could ask for a better color
;0)

I'll try to add my review after a few trips on the water.

Great choice, but be careful on the dark side, as you might soon find yourself irresistibly drawn toward an AI...

Congrats on your new ride, Eric.  I'm sure that it'll attract fish.

Purchased from CCK (California Canoe and Kayak). Many retailer's offered me a similar price for same yak, but as CCK was the dealer that donated the drive I won, decided they earned the sale. It was a pleasure dealing with Tammy, Keith, and all the crew, and would highly recommend them if they are in the area you are looking.
Thanks again,
;0)
