Thanks everyone, I'll post pics tonight of the fish and the fly.  The fly is so simple, it is only 2 materials.  It is my go to fly 99% of the time no matter what I am fishing for.
So long and thanks for all the fish!!!

I'm still eagerly awaiting the recipe and pic of that fly!   Hope to fly fish with you one these days. Gabekap

Here it is, sorry for taking so long.

Tiemco 2499SPBL size 8 hook
Black maribou for a tail
Peacock black ice dubbing for the body

Super simple fly that has caught pretty much every species but a Striper. 26" catfish, 25" bass, tons of 20"+ trout. My number one go to fly. Heck I caught a 15 pound carp on the thing that towed me around in my float tube.

Anytime you want to fish let me know. I pretty much fish every Saturday and also Monday and Thursday after work. I use my float tubes a lot more than my kayak. I have spare if you don't have one. But now it is kayak on the American  after work, park at Sunrise and paddle to just below Sailor Bat.
So long and thanks for all the fish!!!

Thanks for the pattern. My father-in-law and my brother-in-law hit a local lake, we where trying to get my father-in-law into some fish (new to kayaking and haven't pick up a bug wand in many of many years) had some patterns pick out for him and he pick out your wiggle tail pattern(thought it was seductive and flashy). He ended up with 5 fish over 30", never saw a person that had such a grin on his face before. Even the bank fishermen was wondering what he was using and how to get one? Guess the powerbait was not the ticket for the day.
